Fact Sheet

OVERVIEW

Peats Nitra Mulch is a 100% natural organic product made from recycled green organics that have undergone a thermal pasturisation process to ensure that weed seeds and other pathogens have been destroyed.

Peats Nitra Mulch has a nutrient value in it’s own right and reduces loss of existing nutrients in the soil, whilst promoting earthworm (by up to 350%) and microbial activity.

Improved soil structure means improving the availability of moisture, nutrients, drainage, aeration and root growth.

During it’s production, Peast Nitra Mulch has passed through a 25mm screen – hence is ideally suited to large mulching
projects such as under vines and tree row plantings.

Application rate

Apply as a mulching agent at 25-50 mm x 500 mm width along vine rows or 25-50 mm depth in a square metre around each tree or new planting.
